Location: It´s like waking up in paradise. We got a private room with our own bathroom, which I would recommend getting. Wanted to use the shared bathrooms once and unfortunately every single one was disgusting and dirty (unfortunately this happens when people share bathrooms and do not care about other guests at all). The whole ambience is wonderful and the beach is literally 5 meters away. There are some balconies with hammocks and yoga lessons. The view from the balcony is just breath taking. Also, lots of very nice restaurants around, night life is also really fun since there a lots of bars and pubs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect, lots of options and huge portions. We expected a breakfast buffet, but you get a set menu where you can choose from (bowls, fruit salads, omelettes, fried eggs on ham and cheese toast etc.) comes with drinks/smoothie and you can also have coffee with it. Taxi´s go around all the time, so it is very easy to commute.

The atmosphere and location were great! The staff were all super helpful and the events planned for each evening in the social area was a good way to get to know other guests. There was also co-working space and chill out areas. It was definitely the most unique hostel I have visited, set across 4 or 5 levels with insane views of the beach! The location on Playa Zicatela was perfect, it was convenient from the town centre to walk to the bank when we needed cash, close to many lavandarias, 15mins to the airport and many bars/restaurants. It felt more convenient than La Punta, even though the other side seemed more 'trendy'. The onsite restaurant was also great, delicious food, friendly staff and great value! Would stay here again!

I like so much the Selina's style. Specially Puerto Escondido is excellent. They have plenty options not only shared rooms, a restaurant, the bar (tasty mixology), two swimming pools, other bar at the roof top with a nice view to the beach, the library, the kitchen, the wellness area. Everyday day have different activities like karaoke, cinema, among others. It can be a party place but also a place to rest. The best, it is located in front of Zicatela beach, I loved It.

The pool is amazing (although cleanliness level varies). Amazing yoga deck and good teachers. Overall it’s a beautiful property with amazing palm trees and lots of mango trees. Breakfast expensive and sub par. Public Kitchen the filthiest I’ve seen in a Selina. Not sure why they don’t invest in a third fridge. And I know backpackers can be terrible clients and steal stuff but ONE broken knife for the whole place that can barely cut anything?

Excellent beach location, great vibe, fun staff, two pools, central location, taxi's easy to get, park rented scooters right there, surf shop part of Selina (I'm a surfer), more advanced rental surf items steps away from selina, various surf spots close to the spot, especially Playa Zicatela, down the beach at La Punta more chill spot and perfect for beginners in the non surf season. ... office space area was stellar.
